Description
The first Resort in Spain and one of the first in Europe was founded on this island, as we understand it today, with a golf course associated with the Gran Hotel Balneario, the fifth course built in Spain and the first linked to a Hotel . A spa complex where the Gran Hotel placed the name of the island of La Toxa in the Michelin Guide before other hotels of recognized prestige appeared, such as the Palace or the Ritz in Madrid and showing, to no depreciable fortune, being one of the establishments that have been featured in such a prestigious guide for more years.
