Introduction
A tribute to the donkey that, according to legend, discovered the properties of A Toxa's thermal waters.
Description
Legend has it that an old, sick donkey was abandoned on the island. Some time later, it reappeared rejuvenated: it had rolled in the hot muds of A Toxa. This is how the properties of its waters and muds would have been discovered, which in the 19th century gave rise to the spas.
The sculpture is the work of Lucas Míguez and was inaugurated in February 2023.
